Headed out 90 miles to the Middle Grounds with a crew of 5 for the opening of ARS season. We found a bunch of schoolie mahi on the way and kept a few for sandwiches. We fished two spots and ended with a limit of red snapper from 14#’s to 18#’s. The largest was 18.6 (just 2 ounces shy of the current club record). We also caught large mangrove snapper, beeliners, porgies, red grouper, seven delicious scamp grouper, and some very large gag grouper.
