It feels like it has been over 9 months since I’ve caught a slot redfish. There have been plenty of shorts, and even a few over slot…. but none right in the middle. The add insult to injury, *many* slot fish have been caught while on my boat, just not by me! That ended yesterday. A very reasonable 24″, 5.1lb red drum came aboard after being enticed by the ol’ gold spoon.
