Tournament will be held Saturday, April 20th in Suwannee

Please note that the location has been changed

The location for the weigh-in has been changed from Cedar Key to the town of Suwannee. The weigh-in will be held at the public boat ramp on County Road 6 next to Anderson Landing.

GPS Coordinates for prime fishing locations near Suwannee including Spotty Bottom may be found here: http://www.afn.org/~gofc/spots-suwannee.html

Anglers should proceed with caution when exiting the Suwannee River delta and crossing the bar known as the "Suwannee Reef", especially at low tide. Sediments were shifted significantly by Hurricane Idalia in 2023 and the channels have not been dredged.

That means it's time for GOFC's annual Cobiathon/MackAttack Tournament! Grab your wire leaders and meet us in Cedar Key for some high-speed toothy fun!

This tournament is free and open to all club members in good standing. All captains must register for the tournament using the link above no later than 7:30 pm the night before the tournament.

Non-member guests are invited to participate in the tournament with the following strictly enforced requirements:

  2. Participating guests must be included in the list of passengers submitted by the captain when they register their boat.
