The next general meeting of the Gainesville Offshore Fishing Club will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.

Speaker format: Elite Anglers of the GOFC
As is our custom the January Meeting will have multiple Elite Anglers (these are our master anglers who have won the Ellett award 3 times) speaking to how they target the 10 Ellett Contest species throughout the year, working with common seasons and fisheries regulations to attempt to catch as many (or all 10!) of the species that count to the grand yearly prize, the Ellett Award. This is a great way to plan out your fishing year with tactics, techniques, and strategies shared so you don't want to miss it.
We also will be covering the general rules and guidelines to enter fish throughout the year, AND we will have the scale set up in the back and to certify your hand-held scales for use in measuring your fish. SO don't forget to bring your scale to the meeting!
Awards for the final 2024 tournament will be given out, and our goals and aspirations for the 2025 year will be reviewed. We will have a great raffle prize for folks to take a chance on, and door prizes given out just for attending.
