Saturday, March 14th has been confirmed as the date for this year's Seafood Banquet. This year's banquet will be held at the Knopf's beautiful property near Alachua. The event will be held indoors in Ken and Debby's boat barn so come rain or shine!

What is it?
The Annual Seafood Banquet and Awards Ceremony is GOFC's biggest social event of the year. Each year the club gathers to celebrate the winners of the yearlong Ellett Contest and the annual photo contest and to enjoy lots of delicious seafood. This year the banquet will include Loster, shrimp, Tony's famous clam chowder, burgers and dogs, and lots more. The club will also supply bottled water and sodas. We are delighted to welcome back Master Chef and Elite Angler Virgil Cooper to cook for the event so expect a wonderful meal!

Everyone is encouraged to bring a dessert for sharing. A panel of expert GOFC dessert tasters will award a $100 prize for the best dessert!

Tickets for the event are $20 per adult and can be purchased at the door. This event is only open to GOFC members in good standing. at the Knopf home at 21799 NW CR 2054, Alachua FL. Watch for the GOFC signs. The gate will be open, but if you have any difficulties getting in, call 352-231-2998.
