When and where?
Date: Friday, October 24th
Where: Ultimate Boat and RV Storage at 22211 West Newberry Road
What is it?
This is it folks! It's that magical time of year in Florida when the temps start to drop, the leaves are turning colors, and fall football is underway! What better time to have an outdoor GOFC social and eat great BBQ from Mitchells?
Our friends at Ultimate Boat and RV Storage are rolling out the red carpet once again this Friday the 24th with lots of BBQ and side dishes. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by GOFC. Everyone is encouraged to bring a desert to share.
GOFC will be holding a raffle to raise funds for the club, and the raffle committee is promising to bring some especially good loot including some rod and reel combos, an Engle Cooler, donations from our sponsors, and maybe some fishing trips? Plus, a 50-50 raffle so don't forget to bring cash for raffle tickets!!
Invite that friend whom you have been thinking about, come with your family and enjoy the food, friendship and likely some great fishing stories!
As a side note, while you are adding this to your calendar and inviting a friend or two, pencil in our last General Meeting for the 2025 year which is coming up next Tuesday the 28th. We have a new location which we will share in the emails you will see starting this weekend.
