The Gainesville Offshore Fishing Club is proud to host

The Charlie Zoby Memorial Spring Tournament

Location: CEDAR KEY – City Park Pavilions

Date/Time: Saturday June 26th from first light to 4:00 PM

Weigh-in at the city park pavilions from 3:00 -4:00PM— Awards at 5:00 pm Free Fish Fry!!! after weigh in

Goal: Catch a legal size fish of as many different species as possible. This is an individual competition and only the 10 club species listed below can be entered.

Two Divisions

Inshore Species: Bluefish, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Trout

Offshore Species: Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel

Free to active members and open to non-active members.  You can register for the tournament in advance.  Non-Active members must pay an Entry Fee of $50 per person and gets you a one year membership in the GOFC.

you can register on the day of the tournament starting at 6AM closing at 8AM at the Cedar Key Pavilion

All contestants must be registered and sign a waiver before starting the tournament.

Prizes:

  Inshore

• First       =  $300
• Second  =  $200
• Third     =  $100

  Offshore

• First       =  $300
• Second  =  $200
• Third     =  $100

 (Total weight is tie-breaker)

In addition, there is an In-Person Raffle during the prize ceremony – $100 prize

Inshore and Offshore winners will be determined by the number of different designated species caught (only one fish per species counts e.g no difference between 1 trout and 5 trout).

One prize per contestant. Must be present to win. All rules to be determined and interpreted by GOFC Tournament Chairman.

LIABILITY:
ALL ANGLERS AND INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATE AT THEIR OWN RISK and have a current Waiver of Liability on file with GOFC.
